This week, the Birmingham Bullring has been taken by storm as Pop Up Britain set up shop to showcase some of Britain’s best, young entrepreneurial talent. Along with GiveMeTap, Positive Outlook Clothing & The Tea Shed have disrupted the retail scene at this landmark shopping mall, offering products that are sustainable, quirky & something different from your regular High Street.
GiveMeTap is a social enterprise out to hydrate the world. They sell stylish, stainless steel water bottles and are launching their free water map App in Birmingham so consumers can stay hydrated while out and about. Furthermore, for every bottle purchased, GiveMeTap can give someone in Africa access to clean water through water pumps & boreholes.
Joining GiveMeTap are Positive Outlook Clothing, showcasing original prints on apparel made using sustainable materials and processes. By combining organic materials with creative design, Positive Outlook believes that style can come without a price tag on the environment.
Also part of Pop-Up Britain is The *TeaShed, a design led tea, teaware & homeware company, born and brewed in Britain. With a variety of teas sourced from Sri Lanka and quirky, vintage teaware, The *TeaShed aim to bring back the Great British Teatime with a modern twist.
The three young businesses will be spicing up the Bullring until Bank Holiday Monday, selling their products and adding to the dynamics of Birmingham’s retail scene. Pop down to pop up and support British Business, sustainable lifestyles & young talent!
